If there have been times when you had to abandon the thought of making muffins only because you’re out of liners or if you’re just one of those people who loooove the way those bakery liners look then this simple tutorial is for you. Try this easy way of making bakery style muffin liners at home with nothing but a sheet of parchment in under 5 minutes!

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  1. A sheet of parchment paper (or butter paper)
  2. A pair of scissors
  3. A muffin try

 STEP 1:

Lay the corner of the parchment paper over the corner most muffin mold. The paper should cover the mold from the top completely and should cover the extra space around the mold too. To make sure it fits, press down the parchment paper into the mold with a finger and check if it covers the sides. If needed, take a little paper from the sides to cover up the mold completely.

Now mark all the spots and cut out the liners alongside the edges.

 STEP 2:

Once you have one cutting out, use that to cut the remaining liners.

 STEP 3:

Lay a parchment paper cutting on a mold and press it down using your fingers so that it covers the sides completely. Press the paper on the sides and flatten them. This will give them that bakery liner look.

STEP 4:

Hold the bottom of the mold with your finger or the back of a knife and fill the liners. If you don’t hold the liner down with your finger it might fly off or slip from its place, making it difficult to fill them. It’s messy, sure, but the surest way to fill the liners without them flying off.

 STEP 5:

Now just bake the muffins as directed in the recipe and you’re done!
